Service Family Information
Fawley Infant School has a significant proportion of children from Military families, some of whom join the school at times other than the start of the academic year due to being relocated to 17 Port & Maritime Regiment at Marchwood. The majority of our Military families are based at Calshot and primary aged children from this area can travel to and from Fawley and Blackfield Schools by a dedicated school bus.
The Army Welfare Service 'Communication Development Worker' Si Dodd visits our Service children once every half term. Within the 'Little Troopers' group they do arts and crafts, making gliders and even the '17 Port and Maritime Regiment RLC, Marchwood's' mascot - a Seahorse:
